This gorgeous mama had the most perfect little belly! She was effortless in front of the lens…just beautiful! This couple took advantage of the mini maternity portrait session that is available when you book your newborn session. An excellent way to capture your “bump”. Check back soon to see their adorable little princess.

Laura: These are lovely! I love the lighting and especially love the airy but timeless feeling of the last two. Beautiful!

I cannot even begin to tell you how much fun this family is. With five kids so well behaved I think they added up to one regular kid. Emilie, Eli, Grace, Andy and Austin you can come and visit me anytime. You guys are rockstars!!

Thanks again you guys…it was an absolute pleasure to work with you all!

Meet Beckett…a most serious little one. I love his big brown eyes and little baby chub. I have also had the joy of photographing Beckett since he was in the womb. It is always so fun to follow these little ones as the grow!

We did a bit of a “cake smash” session….but Beckett turned it into a “cake destroy and kill” session. Also…this portrait here is the ONE of him getting the yummy cake even close to his mouth. He didn’t taste one bite…silly boy.

I laugh when I see the last image there, he’s keeping an eye on that cake! Thanks again Eric and Jacinta.

Laura: Love the cake destroy ones! LOL. What an adorable little guy and great captures.

This little man arrived a little ahead of schedule. Did you know only 5% of babies are born on their due dates? That means 95% of my clients are messing with my schedule. (hee hee) People often ask how I schedule a newborn since birth dates are rarely known beforehand, and I’ll tell you…my schedule is done in pencil. I always make room for newborns…this stage is so incredibly brief, we have to capture it before it is gone!

Isn’t he just adorable? This was one of my favorite portraits!

Thank you again Kevin and Tara…it’s been a pleasure to photograph your beautiful maternity and your little man!

Violet … A Miracle

May 18, 2011

So many of you know this little one from the very beginning of her life. She came into this world against all odds…she broke the rules and survived. And here she is at one year. Beautiful, miraculous Violet. I thank God for her life…she and her family are an inspiration to so many. If you have missed Violet’s story…please read the post from her newborn session and about her at six months. She is truly inspiring!

First of all…these smiles weren’t exactly being handed out. I had to work hard for this one. I’ve been told that Violet is rather opinionated. She has her ideas and they are better than yours. She makes me smile!

Fiercely independent, Violet is determined to do all things herself. She is ahead of schedule in her speech and I found out just recently that Violet is walking now. Yet another feat that Violet’s parents were told she would never do.

Trying really hard not to smile here…

This was one of my favorites from the session…she’s so pensive. This was one of the first shots of her session and I had clearly not yet impressed her at all.

A special thanks to Rich, Kelly and Violet’s big sister Mahaela for sharing their sweet miracle with us all. Violet is a gift from God and I am so grateful that I have had the honor of working with you all!

Shay McDonald: What an adorable little miracle! GOD IS GREAT!

Greg: What an amazing story, honored by amazing imagery. The Lord does indeed work in mysterious ways.

Take a look at these beautiful triplets! Aren’t they just absolutely precious? I’m always amazed at parents of multiples. I had my three girls all just one at a time and thought it was a difficult road at times. I can’t imagine three at once! But I sure had fun photographing them…

Thank you Jacob and Amanda…it’s been a pleasure to capture your troop!

Rayna Elsdon: Oh my goodness - what beautiful babies - I love how little Miss Isabella is so dainty and feminine compared to her brothers. I am the mom of twins plus an older son and people who have triplets amaze me. :) Beautiful pictures!!

I recently photographed one of the best baby smiles ever. Meet Princess Sydney! Check out how super smiley she was for our portrait session…such a cutie! She did actually throw me a few tears and boo boo lips…those were cute too, but I just can’t resist that happy face.

I have the best job…I work with the cutest subjects! And this little man was no exception. He gave me the cutest little grin…
