I love capturing those sweet and fleeting moments between a mama and her brand new baby. It is always amazing to me how fast these little ones grow…when parents come back just a short two weeks later to view their portraits…their little bundles are so big! Makes moments like this even sweeter…

Okay…before I share this beautiful family…I have to share a story. I was at an ATM a day or so ago and there was an older gentleman at the ATM next to me. I noticed him checking out my feet…really not that uncommon, especially in the winter. As I turned to leave, he stopped me. “Excuse me,” he said, “Are you not wearing any shoes because you don’t have enough money to buy them.” I chuckled. “No…” I said, “I am not wearing shoes because I think they are uncomfortable.” Now it was his turn to laugh and he pointed across the street to some shops. “I was going to offer to take you across the street and buy you some shoes.” What a kind man! And no…this wasn’t the first time I’ve been offered shoes. I’ve also been offered money and once even food. Hee hee…

And now…onto the beauty! This family came in to capture their pregnancy and what a gorgeous pregnancy it was. Just wait until I share their little prince…
