You know…this weather is making me look bad. I had a client in the studio this weekend, she had just recently moved from the east, and she was saying she hoped we wouldn’t have a late freeze. Well…being a native Oregonian, I know my stuff. No, I say, we’re safe now, it’s March. We don’t freeze this late in the year…blah blah blah. Pfft…I wake up this morning to SNOW on my car. SNOW!! Obviously, I don’t know all I think I know.

Anyway….let’s move on to happier and cuter things. Like this little button! Check out this adorable face.  Isn’t she precious staring up at the camera like that? She’s a pro!

What a gorgeous and fun family! Thank you again for the opportunity to work with your little wiggly gal!

Isn’t this the sweetest little smile you have ever seen? I just love her little baby dimples! This little one was a bit older than the typical newborn that I photograph, but she was just as wonderful! She was quite alert for a good deal of her session, until dad decided to wave the white flag…and don’t ask me what it was, but for some reason, that was the ticket. She was out like a light minutes after he said that!! I think I’ll have to try that one in the future.

Every I see this picture I hear Arnold Jackson! “What ‘chu talkin’ ’bout Willis?” Hee hee

This little guy made the funny faces when we first started photographing him. He had me and his parents totally cracking up…what a doll baby!

And his parents we’re so fabulously fun…we had a blast!

Sigh….it just doesn’t get much cuter than a newborn baby. I just love the way they curl up…the little peach fuzz…the wrinkles! This little guy was just nine days old…it’s so important to photograph your little one within the first 10 days…they change so quickly.

WOW…WOW…WOW. This family is so beautiful and wonderful! Just look at them…And you see that little older brother, this was the 2.5 seconds that he slowed down. I’m so thankful that no one is there filming me as photography 1-3 year olds…I’m sure it is quite comical. This is one of my new favorite family portraits…

And see…even itty bitty newborns have fun during a portrait session. (hee hee)

Then they fall into a deep sleep and we take beautiful newborn pictures!

Recently, I needed some newbies for a project I am working on. And these adorable little ones answered the call. (And thanks again to Urban Mamas for helping me get the word out there!) This was so different than my normal newborn sessions….all three babies were in the studio at once, and whoever was asleep, got to come and be my model.

This little guy was a little chunk! He was the oldest, and the first to fall asleep. Isn’t he precious?

This little gal was so tiny…and a great little sleeper. Plus, her mom brought in this adorable little hat.

And lastly…there was this little man. Wasn’t super interested in sleeping…but still oh so adorable!

In the past five months of photographing precious newborns this little one is only the second boy! It’s definitely been a year of girls. But what a precious little man he was.
