Gorgeous siblings…and so fun to photograph. I don’t get to work with their age groups very often…it was a nice change of pace! Thanks again for bringing your family into the studio…

Meet Eve Iftu…whose name means “light or brightness” and boy does it fit. What a ray of sunshine this little one is! I recently had the honor of photographing Eve with her mom and dad, Brad and Steph and her two brothers, Zach and Judah. Their family has had a long haul to bring this little one home from Ethiopia and it was a joy to see them together and so happy.

Thank you Brad and Steph for sharing your little joys with me!

josh: Oh... my... word.... That last photo is one of the best portraits I've seen in all my days. Amazing.

Four beautiful sisters recently graced my studio…aren’t they just beautiful?

These beautiful ladies graced my studio recently with their smiles. Gorgeous and fun…they made my job a breeze.

Thank you Mikey for giving me the joy of working with you and your fabulous girls!

This was so much fun! So much energy and joy! This was another “Sitter Session” that included adorable big brother and sister. Six months is a great time to update your family photos.

Thank you Ed and Rebecca for bringing your little ones into the studio!

On April 30th, Barefoot Photographer held the 4th Annual Barefoot for Babies Fundraiser, a day of mini session to benefit the local Pregnancy Resource Centers. I know a lot of you are waiting to hear the outcome, and we are nearly there. Just finishing up a few final orders and then I can share the total funds raised.

However, the day of mini sessions was so popular, that I went over the 10 spaces allotted for the day and had a waiting list. With such an outcome, I think we need another day of mini sessions! Mini sessions are a fabulous way for people to update their walls with new family and child portraits.

The mini sessions will be held at the Barefoot Photography studio in Portland on June 25th. Each session will last 15-20 minutes and capture 10-15 portraits for you. The cost is $99 for 3 subjects. (Additional subjects may be added for $10 each.) The $99 includes the session fee and an 11×14 portrait of your choice. Additional portraits or course, may be purchased. Also, due to the nature of a mini session, newborn sessions are not possible.

Zane has such a gorgeous family. And his big brother Mason and big sister Kaia were superstars during the entire session. So helpful and sweet!

All for one and one for all – My brother and my friend – What fun we have – The time we share – Brothers ’til the end.
Having three little princesses myself…it is fun to get a chance to work with boys in front of the camera. They are so fabulously different then girls…and these little boys are all boy! Most of these portraits from this session had a car or robot in them, or just out of the shot. So much energy and joy! And then…sometimes you get to capture a sweet and quiet moment like the last image here. So precious!

carrianne: OOOH...that last picture...amazing. His eyes really tell his story!!

I think that is the best word to describe this family…HILARIOUS. And while I love them and think they are super fun…I’m not happy with them. Because they are moving to a galaxy far far away….Texas. So sad. But I am sure that they will come and visit me when they swing through Portland in the future. I sure am going to miss you guys!

Jenni: We WILL be back to visit. And you know I'll call when we plan to come in... And of course we'll expect you to drop everything to accommodate us, like usual. Wait... Why will you miss our high maintenance expectations again?

These two little ones are two of the sweetest kids you’ll ever meet. Big brother just adores his little sister! That hug wasn’t bribed, it was real…granted it lasted just a moment or two…but still 100% real. I love to photograph children at all of their different stages and I have had the joy of capturing these two since they were brand new!
