Mini Sessions! … Portland Family and Child Photographer
June 10, 2011On April 30th, Barefoot Photographer held the 4th Annual Barefoot for Babies Fundraiser, a day of mini session to benefit the local Pregnancy Resource Centers. I know a lot of you are waiting to hear the outcome, and we are nearly there. Just finishing up a few final orders and then I can share the total funds raised.
However, the day of mini sessions was so popular, that I went over the 10 spaces allotted for the day and had a waiting list. With such an outcome, I think we need another day of mini sessions! Mini sessions are a fabulous way for people to update their walls with new family and child portraits.
The mini sessions will be held at the Barefoot Photography studio in Portland on June 25th. Each session will last 15-20 minutes and capture 10-15 portraits for you. The cost is $99 for 3 subjects. (Additional subjects may be added for $10 each.) The $99 includes the session fee and an 11×14 portrait of your choice. Additional portraits or course, may be purchased. Also, due to the nature of a mini session, newborn sessions are not possible.

As always…can you guess the quote?
“In the wild, there is no healthcare. In the wild healthcare is ‘Ow, I hurt my leg. I can’t run. A lion eats me, and I’m dead.’ Well, I’m not dead. I’m the lion. You’re dead.”

Coming Soon … Children’s Photographer Portland
January 24, 2011I am so excited to finally be on the verge of completing an idea that has been brewing for a long time. Very soon I will be announcing my first Limited Edition Angelic Sessions. I am not much of a “proppy” photographer, but every once in a while I get a wild hair to do something totally different from my norm.
We all know that our children are all perfect little angels, right? Riiiiiight….. Perhaps on a daily basis, their angelic-ness is easy to forget…so remind yourself, with a beautiful portrait of the little one in your life. I will soon be announcing the time and availability (which will be limited) of the Angelic Sessions…and the first to hear about it will be my newsletter subscribers. So be sure to sign up to receive my newsletter!
Showcasing an idea of what to expect….my little angels. Enjoy!

Precious Brothers … Family Portraits Beaverton Oregon
January 19, 2011All for one and one for all – My brother and my friend – What fun we have – The time we share – Brothers ’til the end.
Having three little princesses myself…it is fun to get a chance to work with boys in front of the camera. They are so fabulously different then girls…and these little boys are all boy! Most of these portraits from this session had a car or robot in them, or just out of the shot. So much energy and joy! And then…sometimes you get to capture a sweet and quiet moment like the last image here. So precious!

Hilarious … Beaverton Family Photographer
January 17, 2011I think that is the best word to describe this family…HILARIOUS. And while I love them and think they are super fun…I’m not happy with them. Because they are moving to a galaxy far far away….Texas. So sad. But I am sure that they will come and visit me when they swing through Portland in the future. I sure am going to miss you guys!
As always…can you guess the quote?
“By the way, we had that water brought in specially for you folks. Came from a well in Hinkley.”

Jenni: We WILL be back to visit. And you know I'll call when we plan to come in... And of course we'll expect you to drop everything to accommodate us, like usual. Wait... Why will you miss our high maintenance expectations again?
